I think that intelligence is such a narrow branch of the tree of life - this branch of primates we call humans. No other animal, by our definition, can be considered intelligent. So intelligence cant be all that important for survival, because there are so many animals that dont have what we call intelligence, and theyre surviving just fine.
Even if people do wrong, were social animals, so what can we do about stopping them doing the same things in future? Saying people are bad or evil is just an unwillingness to engage; an unwillingness to try to empathise. That sanctimonious attitude doesnt help anyone.

When I look back over my life its almost as if there was a plan laid out for me - from the little girl who was so passionate about animals who longed to go to Africa and whose family couldnt afford to put her through college. Everyone laughed at my dreams. I was supposed to be a secretary in Bournemouth.
